Ultimate class in your glass - Tribes CBD White Lady Cocktail

The White Lady may be named for a creepy appearance, but the making of this drink isn’t scary. In fact, the only thing “terrifying” about this tincture is how easy it is to drink multiple glasses. With its frothy white tip and strong citrus flavor, it’s not difficult to understand why the White Lady has remained famous even after Prohibition.

For an extra dose of relaxation, we recommend sprinkling this drink with a dropper of Tribe CBD oil. If the gin isn’t enough to calm you down, the extra CBD will surely calm your mind.

CBD White Lady cocktail recipe

Interestingly, the White Lady everyone knows today is technically “White Lady Version 2”. According to most cocktail historians, the original White Lady contained the crème de menthe liquor and excluded both gin and egg white. While no one knows why mixologist Harry MacElhone changed his recipe, most agree that the sequel is much better than the original.

However, if you want to try the “authentic” recipe, grab your bottle of Crème de Menthe and give it a try. Better still, there are a few recipes online that feature minty ingredients without forgetting the white foam tip of this drink. For example, you could turn back the gin and add some mint bitter.

Speaking of peppermint, did you know that Tribe CBD recently released a recipe for a CBD peppermint patty cocktail? Anyone who loves “Minty Mixology” must check out this link.

As with many other classic cocktails, protein plays a crucial role in the white lady’s frothy texture. Please note, however, that drinking a raw egg carries the risk of salmonella poisoning.

If you are uncomfortable eating raw eggs, aquafaba is your best substitute. For those unfamiliar, aquafaba refers to the liquid in a can of chickpeas. Incredibly, this liquid has a consistency similar to egg white when you whip it.

Most cooks claim that three tablespoons of aquafaba is the same as one egg. If you’re looking to replace eggs in your cocktails, be sure to google how “aquafaba” is used.
